"Udjah-Eye"
is a well known talisman
from Egyptian Mythology.
This eye symbolizes the
Eye of Falcon-God Horus.
According to Myth, Horus'
eyes were the sun and
the moon that shone upon
Earth.
Horus lost his eye during
his battle against Seth,
the God of evil intensions.
The eye was torn into
pieces, leaving mankind
without protection. It
was Thoth, who collected
the pieces and put them
together again.
This symbol has been
widely used as a protective
amulet throughout history.
